School Counselor - Wilson Elementary and Rockvale Elementary Schools
· Classroom guidance for grades PK-5.  Lead small groups, assist in 504 coordination for students, and began an attendance awareness program at each school.

· Classroom guidance for grades PK-5.  Lead small groups, assist in 504 coordination for students, and maintained cumulative files for students enrolling and withdrawing to other schools. 


School Counselor,  Whitworth-Buchanan Middle School
· School Counselor for 6th-8th grade school population of approximately 770 students, primarily focuses on students with last names A-L.  Served as Building Testing Coordinator for all state and county mandated tests, including teacher and proctor training, accommodations for various populations, pick up, preparation, and return to central office.  
· Worked closely with Administration and RTI team to help provide relevant insight on students’ lives outside of school when making tiered instruction decisions.  
· Served as 504 Coordinator and Student Assistance Team Coordinator, worked in conjunction with the School Social Worker to make sure students had needs met (food, shelter, Holiday assistance). 
· Helped to create a credit recovery program, and started a team review of the disciplinary procedures to help improve student success in areas of career, social/emotional, and academic success. 


School Counselor,  J.W. Wiseman Elementary Schools
· School Counselor for K-5 school population of approximately 500 student and taught classroom guidance as part of special area rotation seeing each class once a week for 45 minutes.  Also served as coordinator for 504 and Student Support Teams, Community Relations (Food Drives, Pennies for Patients,etc.) and Data Room.
